Hey Everybody,
I finally got all my stuff together from Ranger U. I learned so many things and I also remembered many of the things I had forgotten. Tim Holtz did most of the teaching and a great teacher he was. He explained how all the inks worked together, how they were different from each other and how to use everything. We worked with Distress Ink Pads, Distress Reinkers, Distress Crackle, Distress Stickles, the Adirondack Ink Pads, Perfect Pearls, Mini Misters, Dimensional Pearls, Dabbers and Grunge Paper. You can find these products at Another Stamp Company. If you ever get a chance to take his classes you should. What was nice of it all is that we have a tag with directions of the technique we did which will help when I want to either teach or show the technique to someone. Here is the picture of all the technique tags we did.
We also did some projects with Suze Weinberg and Claudine Hellmuth. In Suze's project we worked with Bees Wax, UTEE, Mold & Pour and Perfect Pearls. There is so many techniques on this frame. I had never been interested in the Bees Wax but after using it I really liked it. Mixing it with Perfect Pearls gave in some wonderful colors. Making molds was fun also. The 2 crowns were made with the Mold & Pour and UTEE. It was so nice to have a finished project.
In Claudine Hellmuth class we did the techniques on the tags then we decorated a box with the techniques. We worked on the Sticky Back Canvas and her paints. Did lots of transfers on the canvas. It was a messy class but fun!
Tim Holtz also had a project. We made roses using the Grunge Paper. Fun project!
Ranger U was 3 days from 9am to 6pm. On the last day we got our diplomas and lots of new product to use. So now I am an official Certified Ranger Educator.
Happy Stamping
Maria
